Hi Everybody
Well, for those of you who are still wondering what hit you during May's Mercury retrograde, if you missed the original article you can read all about it here. Luckily this small planet is once again on it's direct course and things are slowly starting to come together, get repaired or start moving again... At least until September that is :)
My May had me reeling for the most part, but I'd stocked up on patience when the electrics went haywire, or the emails went missing or misunderstandings and miscommunications were the order of the day. 'Vasbyt' to the 30th I kept saying :) And here we are, in a brand new month with an energy that is starting to unwind and move fluidly again.
I started doing reiki on a horse last month, as much for my benefit as his, and it has been the most incredible and humbling experience. I can see why Kirtsy chose to work with the animals! They give as much as they get and their love is so pure and unconditional. There is a depth to them you don't notice through the day to day running around, and only in the quietness of gentle bonding do you truly see how much you can learn from them, and how much they have to offer if you would only choose to take a few moments to be still with them and receive :)
Firehawk has become as much my healer as I could be considered his, and it has been such an honour. So maybe I needed the halting energy of this Mercury retrograde to see what I am missing when I'm always on the go... Did you maybe find the same thing? Maybe we shouldn't wait for this planet to take it's much dreaded backwards course through the skies to see what we are missing, maybe we should take time out willingly every now and then to stop and smell the roses as it were... and if you don't get to it, remember there's always the next one in September... So when it rolls on again, don't wave your fists at the skies in contempt, but rather take the time that this energy affords you as everything around you comes to a halt and smile a while, take in the beauty of a sunset, and stop to smell those roses :)
